Conformal Coating

Under certain circumstances, your product circuits and assemblies may require additional protection from environmental factors. LPI offers two options:

 

CONFORMAL COATING
LPI uses an automated conformal coating system from PVA. This multi-nozzle, 3-axis system applies a precisely controlled thickness of Silicone or Acrylic based coating to pre-programmed areas on boards up to 19"x19".

POTTING
When your design requires maximum resistance to shock and vibration or moisture and corrosion, or when you want to protect the intellectual property within your design, potting the electronic assembly with its enclosure may be an option. LPI uses 2-part epoxies that encapsulate and seal products to meet your demanding product requirements.
